Alexa started her Burghley Academy training in 1998 whilst still at school, completing an NVQ unit in manicure as part of her Duke of Edinburgh Award. After A levels she went on to qualify in levels 2 & 3 beauty and holistic therapies before working her way up to becoming an NVQ assessor and Level 4 qualified Academy lecturer. Alexa is a Professional Beauty Therapist of the Year finalist for 2014 and 2016.


Chris has been hairdressing since 1969.

He gained experience in London Salons before setting up in 1981.

Chris specialises in all aspects of hairdressing and salon DIY.


Kathryn began training with Burghley Academy in 2009 and has gained qualifications in beauty and holistic therapies.

She enjoys meeting new people and prides herself with tailoring all her treatments to the client's needs.


Penelope's hairdressing career began in 1984. As well as cutting and colouring she loves styling special occasion hair and specialises in perming and barbering. Her qualifications include C&G (Basic and Advanced) and BA (Hons) Degree


Hayley has been a hairdresser since 1998 and has worked at Burghley since 1999.

She is fully qualified to NVQ Level 2 and 3 in hairdressing and NVQ Level 2 for manicures and pedicures.

Hayley really enjoys meeting new people and prides herself on customer care.


Jane started training with Burghley in February 2009 and qualified in the Summer of 2010. She specialises in non surgical and microdermabrasion facials and is passionate about nails and gel polish. Jane enjoys forming a connection with clients during holistic treatments and tailors treatments to specific needs. She specialises in aftercare advice so you get the most out of your treatments.


Tina has been a Therapist, Lecturer and Author since 1975. She is passionate about standards, quality and care.


Lynn is our receptionist and has been with Burghley since 1999. She has a background in hairdressing dating back to 1977 and is our reception assessor for the NVQ level 2 reception duties qualification that forms part of NVQ level 2 for our hair and beauty students.


Nadine is a level 1 and 2 qualified hairdresser, completing her training in 2004. Since then she has specialised in cutting and colouring hair. She enjoys meeting new people and seeing clients happy with the hairstyles she provides.


Michelle has been a beauty and massage therapist since 2014. After qualifying at Burghley Academy in NVQ Level 2 and 3 now works full time with the Burghley team. Michelle specialises in all aspects of beauty therapy and massage.


Jemma McCormick is a beauty therapist and lecturer. Began her career in beauty in 2003 working in various salons and now pursuing a career in teaching and assessing.


Samantha Hall is our Hairdressing Lecturer and Assessor. Sam had been hairdressing since 2008. She completed NVQ level 2 and 3 in hairdressing and in 2017 became a Lee Stafford Master Trainer. Sam has completed her teaching diploma and assessors award and strives to share her knowledge and experience with the next generation of hairdressers. Sam is passionate about her work and professional standards


Kelly Stoffel is one of Burghley’s Hair Directors. She is qualified to NVQ level 2 and 3 and has been hairdressing for over 25 years. Her passion lies in creativity especially in regards to colouring and special occasion hair.


Nicola Maltby is one of our stylists. Having qualified in 2007 she has completed many advanced courses in areas such as colouring, cutting and prom/wedding hair. She loves being creative with the hair especially long hair work and specialises in all aspects of hairdressing.


Fern is a level 2 and 3 qualified hairdresser. Fern works as a stylist on Mondays at Burghley and specialises in gents styling as well as ladies colouring and cutting.


Amy has been a beauty therapist since 2016. Having trained in Level 2 & 3 at Burghley Academy she now provides all aspects of both beauty and holistic therapies.
